About ATPL Distance Learning |
![]() |
The major advantage of ATPL Distance Learning is that it can be completed in your home and with your own timing.
FlyTeam Aviation Academy's Distance Learning Course is supported through our EASA approved Online ATPL Study and Exam System.
It is an EASA requirement that you complete at least 10% of your frozen ATPL training in a classroom environment. This we achieve through our 2 week Skills Revision Classes which are run on a regular basis throughout the year. You have to complete a minimum of 65 hours of ATPL Skills Revision Classes.
Course completing requirements
- 600 hrs of self study (Distance Course)
- Attend a brush up course - 2 weeks
- Pass a company ATPL exam in each subject
- Pass a CAA ATPL exam in each subject
To enter the course you must hold a ICAO Private Pilots Licence, which means you can hold a PPL issued from almost any country. You must also be at least 18 years old.
